Hey guys. All I have to say is wow, work demands alot of my time. But I've still had time to sneak a couple hours in here and there to play. A lot of stuff in game and other big news has happened.
 First off I am relieved to have finally gotten BRD to Lv. 75. I say relieved becasue I don't really enjoy playing BRD. I originally started leveling it to get some easy merits. Well I got to Lv. 60 around the beginning of the year and then I discovered a glorious thing called SMN burning. So the decision was put before me, keep taking BRD to 75 and if I'm lucky get a 15-20 k/hr TP burn or... SMN burn and get 120+ k/hr. Hmmm, hard choice. So my BRD went stagnent for a bit. Every now and then I'd level it for something to do.
I managed to get it to 70 something when I was asked if I'd like to join a Salavage SP. I gladly said yes but then realised to be a truely helpful part of the group I'd need to be main BRD and take it to 75. So the fight for XP started up again. I say fight but let's be honest you don't have to wait long for multiple PT invites with your flag up. So after a month of here and there parties I finally made it. Now to SMN burn and get 6 merits so I can unlock Troubadour and Nightingale. The main reason I stay with it because my friends need me and I'll always galdly help them.
Speaking of SMN burns, I thought I'd show a screenshot of one of the MANY runs I've been on. Over the past few months there have been many discussions on if SMN burning was good or bad. Most people were atempting to bring up the arguement that it was some how exploiting game mechanics. And wanted the people who were doing it to be banned. A lot of us asked how SMN burning was doing this. The amazing thing is not one person brought up a truely valid reason as to why it was. SMNs were not doing anthing new that wasn't possible since the game first came out. Other touted that the "Ban Hammer" was on it's way and it would ruin Summoning for everyone else. I again still don't see that happening either. We all know SE is well aware of SMN burns. It's not new. It's been around for almost a year and a bit now.  I did something again that I rarely, if ever, do. Bought something just for it's look. I've only ever did it once before in my 6+ years of playing this game. It was the Lamia Garland. This time around it is a Qaudav Barbut. I don't what it is but I love the way this thing looks. I even made a joke about how I'd wear one in real life if they made it. Is there any peice of equipment in the game that you love the way it looks? Maybe so much that if you could have on in real life you might actually wear it?
We also just had a couple Server Events go on. Adventurer Appreciation and Mog Bonanza. Both are great times to try an max out your play time if possible. This year we recieved another Anniversary Ring as a thank you from SE. I used the whole ring on while SMN burning, hehe. Along with our stats since we first started playing. Aslo put all those merits I made in SMN burns to use. Capped out a good deal of all the meritable things I needed for 5 of my jobs.
I've completed so most things with the site. the gear for BLM and DRK (mostly) has been updated to reflect current items. Still have a ways to go in the gear section. A couple more pics have been added to the Vistas section and the Artwork section is up and running.
